Our RARECAT Pinot Noir from the Bucher Vineyard on West Road in Russian River, is a blend of two clones, 115 and 667. Dark opulent color with aromatics of ripe bing cherry, Mirabelle plums, dried tea leaves, and rose petals. Our silky mouth fell will delight your palate with intense flavors of black cherry. 50% new Burgundian sourced French oak barrels add texture and a hint of baking spice. The tannins are balanced and the finish is long and clean.

Bucher Vineyard on West Road in Russian River. Two Clones - 667 and 115. Combination of the two clones brings structure and texture plus mid palate and juiciness. Ripe and generous vintage, wine is indicative of a drought vintage with intense flavors, crop levels were off ~ 25-33% of normal.
Production Notes
Destem to open top tank
Cold soak for 3 days at 50 degrees.
1 complete punchdown on 2nd day, sample for juice tank analyses.
Complete punchdowns 2x daily.
