RARECAT Champagne Case
Price for a 6 Bottle Case
RARECAT has crafted a house-style inspired by Billecart and Bollinger with floral (lime tree flowers & honeysuckle), citrus (meyer lemon) , white fruit (pear & green apple) bursting aromatics, warm brioche with a crisp bright finish and a complexity and ability to age that one expects from a prestige, vintage Champagne. This rare beauty is the fruit of a very special partnership with the Gonet family who has been in the region for 500 years, family-owned the chateau since 1802 and owns 40 ha of vineyars and the most sought after locations in Champagne.
"RARECAT’s 2009 Blanc de Blancs Champagne is an amazingly complex, single estate vineyard wine from the underrated Côte de Sézanne. Chardonnay-based Champagnes from this part of the region are fuller, richer and almost lush on the palate compared to the more steely, delicate wines of the Cote de Blancs. This is deliciously evident in the wine’s intense aromas of spiced apple, pear brûlée, brioche, mineral and hazelnut. On the palate the wine is quite dry, marvelously creamy and has a long, pleasing, bright and juicy finish. A beauty to drink now or cellar for 5 years."
